Affixes, Suffixes, and Roots

Now that you've learned how affixes, suffixes, and roots work, let's have some fun!

Affixes are parts of words. A Prefix begins a word, Suffixes end a word, and Root words are what's left.

Instructions:

Please post two separate comments to this blog post.

1. Create a video of yourself teaching us a new word that you made up. Make up your new word using at least two of the affixes, suffixes, and roots you find on this website. Your video can be like the one I made for activity 1, or it can be something else. Be creative!

2. Upload your video to your YouTube channel and post a link as a comment to this blog post.

3. Pick one of your classmates' videos and comment on it by using their new word in a sentence.
